Old Bessy!

Occasionally we checked craigslist over the years for old junk tractors people are getting rid of. They don't showup often and when they do they go quick. So when we saw this one getting ready to go to the junkyard, we pounced. We both have fond memories at grandparents homes or at the zoo of climbing on the tractors. We have the space and this is a fun piece of folk art for the yard. The kids have had a lot of fun climbing and playing on "Old Bessy". We both also have fond memories of climbing the old locomotive and fighter jet at Pioneer Park but those have not come up on craigslist just yet. It looks great parked in front of our grassland project we started.
