Writing Desk Makeover

It only took about 5 months to finally finish this desk (on again off again working on it). We found it at Goodwill back in January for $10. Someone had tissue papered and decopaged it until it began to scare children. Very solid and beautiful. 3 coats of dark walnut stain and 2 coats of semi-gloss later it is much happier with its makeover. We found an antique dark brass spray paint for the hardware.
