We thought about heading down to Churchill Downs for the Kentucky Derby. Louisville is not too far away and we thought it would be fun to watch the race. Well we decided the cheap tickets were not in a family friendly area so we stayed put. We did have a little Derby party though. Here are the girls donning their Derby Day hats. The girls were enthralled with each of the beautiful horses that were paraded around. It turned out to be a very amazing race.

I love that the proper indoctrination of horse racing includes the derby hat! So cute!
