Ferdinand?

When we pulled up to pick up a friend for church we saw a funny and peculiar site. Perched high on the top of the apartment rooftop were 2 geese! There are a lot of Canada geese here but in the year and a half we have been here, we have never seen one on a roof. Usually we see them in ponds, in grassy areas on the side of the road nibbling, or stopping traffic as they cross the road. It made us think of Ferdinand on the movie "Babe". He is the duck who climbs to the roof and crows like a rooster in hopes of avoiding the farmer's dinner plate. Silly and trivial but we sure enjoyed the funny sight of the geese on the roof. We took a quick shot with the cell phone so its a little hard to tell, but they are geese.
