Velvet Ice Cream

This was part of our trip yesterday. We visited Velvet Ice Cream. It used to be an old mill. There is an ice cream museum, some farm animals, and room for the kids to run and play. We ate at the restaurant where the kids meals were served in unused ice cream boxes. We ofcourse had to test out the ice cream. They have an ice cream festival here every Memorial Day. The mill was built in 1817 and the ice cream factory took over in 1914. www.velveticecream.com
