We visited "Amish Country" back in October. Holmes County has the largest concentration and population of Amish in the U.S.
We enjoyed visiting the many bakeries, farms, cheese shops, quilt shops, and markets. Their simple yet arduous lifestyle was very refreshing, especially after having been in New York City the week before. They seem to be very down to earth and happy people. They are very confident in their heritage.
